It amazes me on how big the city of Wellington is! No wonder it's the capital of New Zealand. A day after we arrived we went to the Te Papa museum. It is the largest museum in New Zealand, and probably the largest one I've been to! It had SIX levels and they are really cool! One of my favorite levels was Blood Earth Fire. It had bits of everything! It showed lava rocks from Mt. Ruapehu's eruption, pictures of earthquakes and they even had flood videos!
Wellington sure is a nice place to be!

I read your comment about you and your family going to a museum and I can not believe that it is SIX floors that is amazing!!!!!!!! I was also wondering when you and your family come back. Hi Hayley, It SNOWED a MILLION CM today! Well, actually about 40 cm. Whoa! You are so lucky to be where it is sunny and warm! You could be swimming while we are shovelling snow! Talk to you soon, miss you lots and ooodles. Carmen.

Sorry to hear about all of the snow. We have been on the beach a lot since being in New Zealand and have been swimming in the ocean. It's been great! Still having lots of fun. Can't wait to see you again.

Hi Hayley, Ethan & Elijah, Your new pictures are great! So good to see you guys out fishing. Did you catch anything? And your fish and chips looked amazing. What do they call them there? I imagine they were SO fresh and tasty! Serious news now. Ready for this? The piles of snow beside my driveway are TALLER than ME. When we drive in our white car, which is similar to your black car in size, you can not see above any of the sides of the roads. We have had so much snow! Today the kids were out for recess. They have had 12 indoor recesses! WOW! Today it is -6 but until yesterday we have had 2 weeks of -25 or colder. You certainly are gone at the perfect time! Bring us back some sunshine :) Only 121 days until we camp May Long Weekend. I wonder if our trailer could make it to Apple Tree Bay? Love to you all. Can't wait to see pics of Hawaii. Hi Hayley! We hope your last few days are wonderful! Have lots of fun and bring us back many stories to share.

We miss you and hope you have safe flights home.

You'll be so glad to be back, we're having just the best weather. Hardly any snow at all. (Except for the 50 or so centimeters we've gotten since the new year...)
