The weather here is HOT! It is like plus 30 degrees.It feels so weird that we came from snow and -20 to this!Today we went kayaking(which i am not so good at!)snorkeling,and I saw lots of fish! I even saw this really big one and it was blue! There are lots of different kinds of fruits. There are passion fruits,guava,coconut,papaya.We see palm trees all over and all have coconuts on them.The passion fruit is really good.:)
Another interesting thing that i noticed is that they drive on the other side of the road.The steering wheel is also on the opposite side as ours.CRAZY!

Hi Hayley and Elijah and Ethan!

It is nice to read your blog, we are happy you got there safely. It is our Christmas concert today and we are going skiing tomorrow. It will be fun! We have one more week of school and are looking forward to caroling.

What is Christmas like there? Do they have decorations? What time is it there if it is 9:00 am here? (We want to know what you are doing while we are at school!)

Hi Class!

We are in Auckland now. We went to a show called Christmas in the Park. It was really cool. They sang Christmas carols,and did a bit of dancing. Christmas is not much different here than over there. Usually it would be freezing, but instead it is really warm out. It feels weird having Christmas when it is warm out! Yes they have decorations as well. In Auckland the time is 20 hours ahead. So, if it is 9:00am on Monday it would be Tuesday 5:00 am in Auckland. I'll talk to you guys again soon!

Hi Hayley! Very cool pics of the cook islands. Tell me about the BUGS! Mom says we can't move anywhere with super scary bugs so that means we are stuck in -30 Alberta where big bad bugs can't live. Any snakes? Can't move where they are either. We sure are enjoying your pictures. The water in the Cook Islands was so pretty. GEMS Christmas Party is tonight. Today we had Christmas Caroling in the gym and the music was so quiet nobody could hear. Mrs Tripp only had computer speakers.

gems was fun but lonley with out u i wish i was with u not in the cold weather it is just about pj day and crazy hair day. is the water warm in new zealand i hope u have fun!!!!!!
